Some of our brightest stars are graduates who have experienced our structured training programmes, benefiting from professional sponsorship and intensive internal support.

Graduate Development

Our broad based, structured two year management development programme offers choices for our new generation of managers by offering placements across the business in a variety of key construction disciplines.

Programmes are taylored to suit individual needs and preferences.

Each placement is supported by key tasks to be completed, and evidence is compiled to substantiate this learning. Training is reviewed on a regular basis by both the Line Manager and the Training & Development Manager. Attainment of the appropriate professional qualification, CIOB, RICS etc as appropriate is actively encouraged.

Undergraduates

Undergraduates too are sponsored through their degrees, enjoying regular work placements and a guaranteed job upon successful completion of the course.

ISG Pearce works closely with universities, promoting careers in the construction industry and examining elements of Best Practice. We participate strategically in the Constructing Excellence programme for the South West which addresses skills needs in the region. On a practical level we run workshops for schools which provide a taster in construction skills for year 9 and 10 pupils.

Industrial Placements

Industrial Placement students follow a shortened version of the Graduate programme which provides the opportunity to gain real work experience. Students who later return as Graduate Trainees are able to fast track their development programme.
