Comprehensive School
ISG Pearce were awarded this extension to the existing comprehensive school following a single stage tender. The works were carried out in a live environment with shared access and egress to the school requiring detailed management and communication of all site activities. Built on an old colliery, the site had significant contamination and underground obstructions which had to be removed prior to the construction of the New Teaching Block, New Sports Hall and Kitchen Refurbishment. ISG Pearce contributed to information and learning workshops involving the pupils in the progress of the construction works.
