07/04/06 ISG Pearce Collects Property Awards from Tesco
Bristol-based contractor ISG Pearce scooped the two main contractor awards last week, at a ceremony held by Tesco to recognise outstanding contributions to the retailer’s 2005/06 development programme.
The ‘Right First Time’ and ‘Looking after the Customer’ awards were presented to ISG Pearce in recognition of their ability to meet and exceed zero defects targets and for their work on programme compression, which has significantly cut the length of build programmes, so minimising disruption to stores while work is carried out.
Business Development Director, Andrew Dale-Harris was delighted to receive the awards: “We take great care to deliver service of the highest standard to all our customers, striving for a ‘right first time’ ethic in all our build programmes. It’s hugely rewarding to see our commitment to quality and our innovative approach to construction projects being recognised by the country’s leading retailer.”
At the ceremony, ISG Pearce was also singled out for praise for their inputting of data into the Tesco construction intranet, ‘My Property’.
Tesco is a core retail customer of ISG Pearce, accounting for 20% of the group’s turnover.
