Case Study Primark, Exeter
Exeter is one of the Littlewoods stores that Primark purchased in 2005, and is situated in the Guildhall Shopping Centre in Exeter city centre.
As with all the old stores purchased, the main objective was to start work and re-open the stores as Primark as soon as possible. To enable this to happen Primark undertook a 2 stage tender process which meant ISG Pearce working closely with the clients team to design out issues and risk at an early stage.
The project itself consisted of major structural alterations to facilitate re-located lifts and escalators and the total refurbishment of all parts of the store, including all mechanical and electrical plant.
