Case Study City of Bristol College
Working within a ‘live’ college campus the scheme comprised the refurbishment and extension of three ‘stone built’ former orphanage buildings. The seven steel framed extensions were constructed to provide teaching workshops for brickwork, woodworking, plumbing and gas fitting, catering and a learning resources centre.
Enabling works entailed the replacement of a ‘failing’ large capacity sewer that crosses the site. Structural investigations, asbestos removal and the demolition of redundant structures.
