Case Study Project Angus New Fleet Headquarters
The works comprised the design & build of the New Fleet HQ to accommodate 850 personnel, full IT facilities, galley and dining areas.
The steel framed structure is founded on piles, with precast concrete floors and stairs. The envelope is of masonry at ground level with a combination of rain screen cladding, curtain walling and proprietary metal cladding above. The roof is a single ply membrane on insulation laid to falls on precast concrete units.
The mechanical services are a displacement ventilation system with provision for natural ventilation and air conditioning to specific areas.
The building was designed to achieve a BREEAM rating of excellent.
