ISG Pearce is committed to maintaining and continuously improving health, safety and environmental excellence. All employees from the Board down are actively committed to planning and setting objectives to reduce risk and eliminate hazards and are regularly assessed for their HS&E capability. We have 100% CSCS accreditation across the company.
Our dedicated in house Health, Safety and Environment team continually assess the risks to health and safety of all employees, suppliers and others affected by our operations. Safety management and environmental systems are continuously monitored and measured. ISG Pearce are accredited to the OHSAS 18001; 1999 and ISO 14001; 2004 standards.
We have recently been awarded the RoSPA Gold Award and CHAS Accreditation for our continually reducing accident figures. This year we have been short listed finalists for Building Magazine 'Best Safety Programme' and the 'Working Well Together Campaign Award' and for the Contract Journal 'Environmental Leadership Award'.
ISG Pearce are working in partnership with Envirowise on the development of an Excel based waste monitoring process for use across the construction industry. The Safe and Sustainable Awareness Days chaired by ISG Pearce and the Working Well Together Group have attracted over 500 small to medium sized business’ across the SW. The commitment of Tom Harper, ISG Pearce’s Best Practice Manager, to leading these shared learning initiatives was recognised in the 2007 Queens Birthday Honours List with the award of an MBE.
